Bruce Robb  
Background

Over the years in the industry, Bruce has maintained a long involvement in the industry and participated in many industry committees and forums as a way of giving back his time to an industry that has provided numerous experiences, memories and friendships.

Bruce is currently a National Director on the Board for HIA. He is also  a Past President for HIA Qld.

  • QBCC- Open and Low Rise Builder and Medium Rise Designer (Nominated Supervisor Licence)

  • Bachelor of Applied Science- Built Environment

  • Graduate Diploma- Architecture

  • Cert IV- Training and Assessment

Over the years, Bruce has been at the forefront of industry innovation looking for better ways to construction buildings and improve the efficiency of the industry:

  • first builder in Australia to use the engineered timber I-beam joists after lobbying the suppliers to introduce the product

  • first builder in Australia to build townhouses using the timber framed party wall system

  • part of the study tour to investigate the use of cross laminated timber (CLT) for multi storey construction
